We hope that all is well with you and your family!
As the community that makes up the Lincoln Civic Block Association, we pride ourselves in its beauty and being a great place to live. Safety is also part of the equation of what we love about our neighborhood.
Unfortunately, there are a few outside individuals who do not recognize what we value.
As a heads up...
There have been a couple of armed robbery incidents on our blocks, including most recently Thursday evening, January 14, on Lincoln Place, between NY and Brooklyn. It was reported that 4 individuals robbed a man at gunpoint. It is unknown whether the incident was captured by area security cameras. The police were called and arrived after the robbers got away. We do not know what has happened since then.
We must not be afraid to live in our neighborhood! If you see something that is criminal, say something...report it to the police or appropriate authorities.
In order to be most effective, it is also crucial to know who our neighbors are so that we can look out for one another.
