Lincoln Civic Block Association members and area residents turned out Saturday, May 21 to support efforts to reduce the danger and damage caused by heavy traffic down New York Ave in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The group organized a rally and petition and were joined by New York State Senator Eric Adams at the corner of Lincoln Place and New York Ave. Their petition claims that oversized vehicles such as busses and trucks that plow down the small street, shake the foundations of the buildings and cause irreparable structure cracks to apartments and houses.
